Ronan Keating has claimed that Louis Walsh has bitterness "festering in his soul". Louis revealed details of their long-standing feud during his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother when viewers saw the housemates enjoying a VIP pop party with treats, drinks, and classic pop tunes. But when Ronan's song Life Is A Rollercoaster played in the house, Louis took a harsh jab at the singer.
Louis said, "Great song" but then he had a surprise pop at Ronan by adding "He was such a p***k." When chatting with Sharon Osbourne, he added, "Everybody thinks he's a lovely guy, do you know what I mean? " He even claimed that Ronan hadn't done well in the charts without him, saying: "He hasn't had a hit record since I left. He sacked me." When he was just 16, Ronan, now 47, met music mogul Louis, 71, with dreams of becoming Ireland's next pop sensation. In 1993, Louis was eager to create an Irish version of Take That, and Ronan was one of the first hopefuls to respond to a newspaper ad about auditioning for the group.
After securing a place in the boyband - which became one of the most successful groups ever - alongside Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch, and Mikie Graham, Ronan and the boys owed their global fame to Louis. However, over time, the relationship between the singers and their manager soured significantly. In recent years, Louis hasn't held back in criticising Ronan and his former bandmates, and his latest comments were shown on ITV for all to see.
