Venture inside giant jaws, squeeze through the small intestine and even don a poo hat to experience being flushed down a rather large loo. This is all part of a world-first new exhibition giving a taboo-busting voyage through the digestive system from the team behind CBBC's Operation Ouch.
The TV show's Dr Xand, Dr Chris and Dr Ronx are behind the world premiere exhibition called Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You which opens to the public on Friday July 21 just in time for the school Summer holidays. They were at the Science and Industry Musuem on Tuesday to give us a sneak preview of the huge, immersive exhibition that is set to be a hugely popular attraction over the coming months.
It features a range of colourful and over-sized body part exhibits to help educate young and old on the fascinating science inside our bodies. Visitors can explore exactly how food is processed in the body, and how the entire systems keeps our bodies healthy, provides energy and expels waste.

It's all delivered in a fun, silly, super-sized and taboo-busting way, with visitors getting to experience it all as if they are walking through Dr Xand's own digestive system. Visitors will start the journey as if they are walking into his mouth.
They then end their journey inside the Doctors’ interactive lab, where they can continue to get hands on with a host of games and activities. Twin brothers Dr Xand and Dr Chris van Tulleken alongside Dr Ronx Ikharia who present the popular CBBC series Operation Ouch, have worked together on the exhibit with a team of experts in a bid to break down taboos about the digestive system.
