Get to know the real Nev Schulman! The Catfish: The TV Show host and executive producer, 38, prioritizes exercise and time with family and friends on a daily basis.
Schulman kicks off his mornings bright and early “with a kid crawling into bed or prepping breakfast for the fam,” he explains in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. The television personality shares daughter Cleo, 6, and sons Beau, 3, and Cy, 17 months, with wife Laura Perlongo, whom he wed in 2017.
The couple met via Instagram in 2015 when the New York native posted about selling his motorcycle and Perlongo, 37, commented that she was interested in purchasing it. Although she didn’t end up buying the vehicle, Schulman gave her a ride when the pair later went on their first date.
“I was a little nervous, to be honest,” Perlongo — who serves as a guest host on Catfish this season — told Us in January 2018. “I was like, ‘Are we gonna die? Is this worth dying [for]?’”
Although Schulman still owns a motorcycle, he gets his thrills from other areas as well. After the breakfast rush and his morning run, the In Real Life author attends to his “favorite activity: vacuuming!”
Toward the end of the day, the Dancing With the Stars alum picks up Beau from gymnastics while his “better half” takes care of grabbing Cleo from chess practice. Schulman previously gushed about his wife’s parenting skills during a September 2020 conversation with Us.
“Honestly, I know every mom is the best mom in the world, but the greatest joy for me is watching Laura with our kids. She is so fantastic, and they are so lucky that they get to spend time with her. They really are so happy and so loved,” the loving husband shared at the time.
Perlongo, for her part, opened up about having
