Lucie was among scores of protesters taking part in a day of action against what they see as the destruction of their local cliffs and beach. At least 150 people took part in a protest on Thursday, 2 March at Whipsiderry beach in Porth, just outside Newquay.They fear the area and its wildlife will be ruined by developers who want to put luxury homes on the clifftops.
