It's a description which appears to be at odds with the number of deaths reported at HMP Styal.
And it suggests an atmosphere that's very different to a male prison like the troubled Forest Bank prison in Salford. There, other sources have said it will be a boozy, drug-fuelled and far less joyful affair.
