A 'caring' man who left a 'massive impact' on others died in his mother's arms after a weekend away. David Clarke had been feeling 'alone and upset' after the first of two nights he spent in Liverpool.
The 32-year-old later went out in the city centre, and was seen talking to people in a doorway at 4am on Sunday, November 19. But on the same morning, David collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrest.
David, from Stoke-on-Trent, was placed on the critical care unit at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. Tragically, he died three days later, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Pamela Williams, David's mum, described her son as popular and caring. She said: "David was born on April 22, 1991. I had to have him christened as he was on life support with a condition called severe respiratory stress syndrome.

"He had a massive impact on everyone on our warehouse since day one. I've even been told by another manager, if he felt down he would go to find Dave and he would cheer him up. On Thursday, November 16, and Friday, November 17 he dressed as Pudsey for Children In Need and raised over £150 with his friend Dan."
