Former Dancing On Ice winner Sonny Jay Muharrem has revealed the results of his incredible 12-week body transformation. Training and competing for the ITV skating competition saw the 28-year-old in good shape.
However, after the series ended, and the gruelling weeks of training were over, Sony realised it had taken quite a toll on his body: "I just crashed after the show," he said. "I was taking supplements and I was doing so much exercise, I thought I needed to give my body a rest."
As the co-host of Capital Radio’s Breakfast Show, Sonny starts his working day at 4am and soon found his old habits creeping in, like tucking in to the tasty sausage sandwiches from the staff canteen, and quickly noticed changes that he didn’t like. "I wanted to get back to that feeling I had after the show of being happy with my body. I want to feel good and look athletic and healthy," he said.

The former Loveable Rogues singer therefore embarked on a 12-week programme at the start of the year to overhaul his nutrition and fitness regime and he has since shared the results on Instagram.
Sharing a side-by-side before and after snap, Sonny wrote to his followers: "This is probably MY WORST nightmare having to post this. Someone that has never really been ‘body confident’. The fittest I’ve felt in years was being on Dancing On Ice last year.. skating 7 days a week with lifting.
"As soon as the show finished it felt my body just needed a break. That break turned into 9 month of not working out once. Hence the picture on the left."
