BTS, Green Day & Stormzy Cancel Asia Shows Due To Coronavirus Outbreak

Light in the Attic has announced the first-ever reissue of the late Japanese ambient pioneer Hiroshi Yoshimura’s 1986 album GREEN, slated for a physical release on June 26. The reissue of the long-out-of-print album features an original mix previously available only on the initial Japanese vinyl release, as well as handwritten track notes by Yoshimura.

The Taiwan International Documentary Festival, one of the leading documentary film festivals in East Asia has been called off for this year. Organizers blamed the coronavirus outbreak.

Treefort Music Fest is the latest U.S. music festival to be impacted by developments surrounding COVID-19. Festival organizers have announced the five-day music event, which takes place across multiple venues in Boise, Idaho, will now be moved from March 25–29 to September 23–27. Artists set to the play original dates included Chromatics, Japanese Breakfast, Built to Spill, Tennis, Georgia, and others. Festival organizers say lineup changes and additions “will be announced as needed.”

As concerns over the coronavirus outbreak grow, so have the number of TV, film, and other entertainment productions impacted amid travel restrictions and health advisories. More than 90,000 cases have been reported so far in over 66 countries including China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

“No Time to Die” will be postponed until November, the James Bond sequel’s backers announced on Wednesday.
