Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has described the team's performance against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon as unacceptable.
The growing pressure around Erik ten Hag was alleviated after the 2-1 win over Chelsea, but United could not build on that victory and they spectacularly regressed to suffer a 3-0 defeat at home to Bournemouth.
Bournemouth only recorded four shots on target in the match but they never looked in danger of not claiming the victory.

Although United are still within touching distance of the Champions League places, the table is tight and they sit just three points ahead of West Ham, who sit in ninth position and have a game in hand.
United have now lost 18 games in all competitions in 2023, which is their highest total in a calendar year since 1989, and Fernandes spoke his mind in his post-match interview with MUTV.
"Apologise for the performance today, it was not acceptable," Fernandes said when asked for his message for supporters. "Everyone agrees in the dressing room the performance was not at our level and we have to do much better.
"When we win a game, we don't perform the same in the next one, the same way we did before. I don't know if it's a lack of concentration or focus, or something else, but we have to be aware of it.
"After winning games, we have to get that consistency of winning games. Even sometimes underperforming but getting the result. They [Bournmouth] are really strong, the press with good intensity and if you don't do your job, you're not going to win.
"I think we had good moments at the beginning of the second half. We need to be more eager
