Bruno Fernandes sent a message to his Manchester United teammates as they renewed their top four hopes in the Premier League.
Having looked out of the race just a week ago following defeat to Everton, United clawed their way back into the reckoning for Champions League qualification with a 3-2 victory over Norwich. The result came as both Tottenham and Arsenal lost, bringing United right back into the battle.
Having made a disappointing return from the international break by dropping points against Leicester and Everton, United were made to work for their first win in three against the league’s bottom side. Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick ensured they got themselves back in the race for fourth, having seen the Canaries claw their way back from 2-0 down to 2-2.

The result comes as a timely boost, with United having looked set to end what has been a dismal season with a whimper after taking just a point from games against Leicester and Everton. Saturday’s win though places them just three points off fourth-placed Tottenham, with six games remaining.
And Fernandes was on hand to deliver a rousing message to his teammates ahead of their final run-in. Posting a celebration picture on Instagram, the Portuguese captioned it: “Let’s keep pushing and believing until the end.”
United’s victory comes at a vital time, as they are now set for a pivotal week in their fight to finish fourth. They travel to title-chasing Liverpool on Tuesday night, before heading to north London next weekend to face top four rivals Arsenal.
