A brave woman who was physically and sexually abused by convicted rapist Bradley Isherwood has spoken out after he was sentenced to 10 years behind bars.
The victim, whose identity has been protected, was in a relationship with the now 25-year-old at various stages from 2016 to 2021. She has recalled the most difficult period of her life after being repeatedly beaten and on one occasion, raped by Isherwood.

On July 18, Isherwood was found guilty of three counts of rape including one against a 14-year-old girl.
On August 29, the brute was sentenced to 10 years behind bars and a further three years under supervision. He has also been placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
The 23-year-old victim gave evidence during the trial against her attacker after collecting vital evidence during their relationship. She recalled moments during the trial where Isherwood strangled her, dragged her across the floor, held a knife to her cat's throat and sexually assaulted her.

Describing her first impressions of Isherwood when the pair met in Wallyford, East Lothian, she said: "He seemed so likeable and you could tell he was quite a daredevil and liked doing weird stuff. He was funny but likeable at first.
"My parents ended up taking him in at the end of 2015. At that point I was 15. My parents were definitely not sure about the relationship due to my age. My
