Beyond Paradise star Kris Marshall has opened up about his feelings when ITV's Sanditon was cancelled and then brought back to life. Sanditon, a romantic drama based on an unfinished Jane Austen novel, managed to return for a second series in July 2022 despite initially struggling to attract viewers and being axed after just one series.

The actor also recalled seeing amazing sand artworks created by fans on the beach near where they filmed, calling them "relentless".
Kris was delighted when the show was renewed for two more series, and spoke about his role as Tom Parker, a businessman who wants to transform Sanditon into a posh seaside resort, reports the Express. Fans were thrilled as they got a closer peek into the second series, where Tom didn't back down but in fact, was more determined to make his grand idea a reality. Currently, fans can watch Kris on screens in the second series of Beyond Paradise.
