Beyonce has topped the UK singles chart for the first time in nearly 14 years with her song Texas Hold 'Em. The country song was released on February 11 during the Super Bowl, along with another single, 16 Carriages.
Both songs are expected to be on her new album, which will be released on March 29. It follows the success of her 2022 album, Renaissance. Beyonce, who hails from Houston, Texas, and has won 32 Grammy awards, last reached number one in the UK singles chart in March 2010.
This was when she teamed up with Lady Gaga for the song Telephone. She has had four other songs reach the top spot: If I Were A Boy, Deja Vu featuring Jay Z, Beautiful Liar featuring Shakira, and Crazy In Love.

In 2023, Beyonce toured with Renaissance, and a documentary about her 39-city world tour premiered in North American cinemas on December 1. Over five months, around 2.7 million fans attended her concerts, and the tour made close to 500 million dollars (£411m), according to Billboard.
