Beyonce's Official biggest albums in the UK, ranked and revealed for the first time

This week, pop royalty Steps commemorate 25 years in music with the release of their Platinum Collection. Currently on course to become the band's fourth Number 1 album, ahead of competition from Aitch and actual Madonna midweek, it's a record positively bursting with bangers spanning a quarter of a decade.

A three-way midweek chart battle is underway on the Official Albums Chart with Steps, Madonna and rapper Aitch all vying for a taste of Number 1 success.

Beyoncé reigns atop the Official Albums Chart for a second week with RENAISSANCE.

The race for the UK’s Number 1 album is already heating up; as Beyoncé and Eminem are currently duking it out to see who will triumph at the top of the Official Albums Chart this Friday

Beyoncé’s just-released seventh album, ‘Renaissance’, has topped the Billboard 200 chart in the US, continuing her unbroken streak of albums debuting at Number One.All seven of the artist’s studio albums have peaked in the top spot, however, the release of ‘Renaissance’ is notably significant in that it’s already become Bey’s highest-charting album in every major market. In addition to the US, it’s debuted at Number One in the UK, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. It’s likely to top the Canadian chart as well, however data for that is yet to be released.‘Renaissance’ also came in at Number Two in Germany, beating her last album, 2016’s ‘Lemonade’, by one place.

Beyonce‘s new album Renaissance has been in stores for more than a week and it officially has topped the charts for the first week of release!

Proving once and for all that you just can't keep a good big pop girl down, Beyoncé's potential dominance of the Official Charts this week continues as we can announce that RENAISSANCE album track CUFF IT is officially the UK's Number 1 Trending Song. 

Beyoncé launched the first single ‘Break My Soul’ last month, the queen of pop has broadened her oeuvre once again, this time taking on dance hall beats, 90s house, Afrobeats, and soul influences.  The release follows a leak two days earlier, after the album arrived at retailers in France.  It’s the first solo album she’s released in six years since her critically acclaimed album, ‘Lemonade’.

Muse are bidding to become the first act to reach the Official Albums Chart with an album delivered as an NFT (non-fungible token).
