BBC Strictly’s Tess Daly snubs Ellie and Vito romance rumours as she likens them to ‘brother and sister’

Since first arriving on our screens in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing, Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola have delighted viewers week after week with their sensational performances. But while their constantly improving dance technique has been the source of much public interest, it’s the couple’s love lives that have really gotten fans talking, with several viewers believing a romance could have blossomed between the pair thanks to their sizzling chemistry.
While neither star have ever publicly revealed if sparks have flown between them, both stars have shared complimentary and affectionate words of support to each other both on air and on social media. However, despite the abundance of ‘clues’ that eagle-eyed fans are convinced they’ve spotted that hint at a new romance, Strictly host Tess Daly has revealed the pair have a very different dynamic as she compared them to siblings while appearing on It Takes Two.
The surprising bombshell came during Wednesday 6 December’s edition of the show, when Tess was joined by her partner in crime, Claudia Winkleman for a sit down chat with Fleur East about their thoughts on the upcoming final, which is now just two weeks away. Fleur kicked things off by asking about how close the cast had all become this year, as she asked Tess what it had been like to see them form such close bonds.
