BBC Strictly fans blast Tess Daly over huge show change as they brand it 'pointless'

Strictly Come Dancing fans tuned into the latest live results show on Sunday night, 3 December, despite there being no elimination. Fans of the BBC’s celebrity dance show were devastated for former EastEnders actor Nigel Harman, after he quit due to injury, but took to social media platform X to question the show’s decision to put presenter Tess Daly on the sofa with Claudia Winkleman.
One viewer wrote: "Not liking Tess up in Claudia’s bit, she can’t do small talk. Get back downstairs Tess." After the show screened video messages from the likes of Billie Piper, another viewer added: "Hilarious that they've scoured every contacts list in the studio to find people who were in, and prepared to make a shite video, to pretend they give a shit about Strictly."
