BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers slam Craig Revel Horwood for 'harsh' Jody Cundy score

Craig Revel Horwood came under fire from Strictly Come Dancing fans for giving Jody Cundy a low score of just four on Saturday night's live show (October 7).
Paralympian Jody had only completed two days of training for Movie Week after an infection in his leg meant he couldn't wear his prosthetic. The athlete, who has won won eight Paralympic medals in swimming and cycling events, had his right foot amputated at just three years old.
The decorated athlete revealed on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two earlier this week that he had to dash to hospital at 4am to get the infection checked out. His leg became so swollen he wasn't able to wear his prosthetic, which he uses to dance in.

He and professional dance partner Jowita Przystal faced a nervous wait to see if they could compete in Saturday's show - and fortunately, of course, they were able to. The pair took to the Strictly ballroom for an American Smooth, telling the story of 2009 Disney Pixar film Up.
They had missed out on three days of vital practice due to Jody's infection, but still managed to pull of the performance. Talking to Tess Daly afterwards, Jody said he was happy with his performance and reckoned it went well.
All four judges praised Jody for his commitment and his storytelling, with head judge Shirley Ballas adding: "You really brought us into the story, I fell in love with the character - it was absolutely divine." However the judges did pull the athlete up on his 'frame'. Craig said: "You really need to work on that. You're using your arm to lead, your shoulder to lead. It became a little bit jagged."
