Strictly Come Dancing star Krishnan Guru-Murthy has said it was a 'big decision' as he's been forced to swap dance partners. The Channel 4 News presenter impressed viewers of the BBC One dance contest during his time on the show.
Krishnan was partnered with professional dancer Lauren Oakley, who joined the show last year but was given her first celebrity partner this year. But earlier this month, the pair became the seventh couple to leave the 2023 run of the dance competition.
But while the dancing journey on TV screens has ended for Kirshnan, there's more to come in 2024. The 53-year-old will be hitting the road with some of his fellow Strictly 2023 contestants on the live tour.

He was announced alongside Angela Scanlon, Annabel Croft and Bobby Brazier after actress Ellie Leach, broadcaster Angela Rippon and stage and screen star Layton Williams had already been confirmed to be hitting the road in the New Year.
Bu it was revealed he won't be dancing with Lauren as she is already doing a dancing tour with Giovanni Pernice. He'll instead be performing up and down the coutnry with Jowita Przystal. And he's not the only one going through a dance partner 'split' as former tennis ace Annabel will be partnered with Graziano Di Prima instead of Johannes Radebe.
