Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has shared an 'overwhelmed' message to fans as he's supported over a venture away from the ballroom. The dancer has been out of the BBC One contest for a few weeks after he was forced to leave the 2023 run of the competition.
The decision was made last month after Giovanni's celebrity partner Amanda Abbington confirmed she couldn't continue. The actress pulled out of one of the live shows due to 'medical reasons'. Before she and Giovanni were due to return for last weekend's Halloween special, it was announced Amanda would be leaving the competition due to 'personal reasons'.
The Sherlock star later said: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons, I am unable to continue," and hasn't elaborated on her reason for leaving the hit competition since.

But Giovanni has been keeping himself busy and has turned his focus to his career away from his dancing talents. At the end of October, the 33-year-old revealed that he is releasing his own fragrance for men and women.
