Fans have claimed Anton Du Beke made a 'telling' remark when it came to Angela Rippon as Strictly Come Dancing returned to screens. The BBC One dance show continued on Saturday night (November 18) and it was a big night for the couples.
It was the change viewers had been waiting for all series for as the seven remaining couples, the judges and the show's hosts ditched the usual Elstree studio for Blackpool.
As per the show's annual tradition, they headed to the seaside town for week nine of the competition as it continued for one week only in the iconic Tower Ballroom. And things got off to a glitzy and energetic start with the hit show's group of professional dancers opening the show as they filled the sprung floor to a mega musical mash-up.

It was then time for the real competition to begin with EastEnders star Bobby Brazier and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell the first couple to dance during the latest live show as they performed a jive to Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go by Wham! before Angela Rippon took to the floor.
The veteran broadcaster enjoyed a "full circle" moment as she returned to Blackpool decades after hosting Come Dancing, the classic inter-regional amateur dance contest that inspired Strictly Come Dancing.
After surviving the dread dace-off for the past two weeks, Angela took the knockbacks in her stride as she joined professional dance partner Kai Widdrington for an American Smooth to Tea for Two by Ella Fitzgerald.
