Nigel Harman has sparked concern among Strictly Come Dancing fans after he was forced to face more criticism from the judges in the ballroom this week. The actor and his dance partner Katya Jones were among the remaining 10 couples taking to the floor as the fight for the Glitterball trophy continued.
But it wasn't a normal week of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (October 28) as it was Strictly's annual spooktacular Halloween special with each couple - and the judges - dressed to impress ahead of the spookiest day of the year on Tuesday (October 31).
Actor Layton Williams was among those to wow the judges by performing a back handspring with a wig on while dancing to Olivia Rodrigo’s Vampire. The theatre star, who also played Stephen on BBC Three series Bad Education, and professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin performed a tango on Saturday which received a standing ovation.

Judge Craig Revel Horwood labelled the performance a “theatrical triumph”, but head judge Shirley Ballas had some criticisms and told Williams that he needed to work on the basics. And with four nines from the judges, the duo received a total of 36 points, which only managed to put them second on the Strictly leader board this week, behind Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola who wowed with their salsa.
Performing last and painted head to toe in green, former Coronation Street Ellie and Italian dance partner Vito topped the leader board with 38 points for dazzling with a salsa to the song Murder On The Dancefloor by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, which Anon Du Beke called "absolutely spectacular".
