Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left emotional after judge Anton Du Beke mentioned the Len Goodman.
Anton referenced Len following a performance from tennis star Annabel Croft and her partner Johannes Radebe. The pair performed an energetic Tango during the BBC show's Halloween special tonight (October 28).
Anton and Len were well known to be good friends right up until his death in April of this year following a battle with prostate cancer. He hosted the first ever episode of Strictly in 2004 and sat on the panel for over a decade, where he became well-known for his signature 'seven' scores.

Giving comments to Annabel and Johannes following their performance, Anton said: "I’ll tell you who would have loved this, dear old Len would have loved this. You took hold at the beginning, and you started to do a Tango and you came out of hold when the music stopped playing, absolutely brilliant.”
Many viewers greatly appreciated the nod to Len, with one viewer writing on X, formerly Twitter: "Thank you Anton for bringing up Len, all Strictly fans miss Len. I really wish like Dancing with the Stars, they'd rename it the Len Goodman trophy."
One viewer said: "Nice shout out from Anton, for dear old Len" while another added: "'Dear old Len would’ve loved this' Anton i’m NOT OKAY."
Shortly after Len's death, Anton recalled how he encouraged him to "be yourself" after he landed the job of judge. At the time, he added: "And that was exactly as Len was. He was himself.
