BBC sports reporter, Matt Graveling, has announced his 'miracle' baby daughter's birth after being pulled off TV. He made the announcement on X - formerly known as Twitter - as he gushed about his daughter being born.
He also explained that it was why he had missed out on covering the women's football semi-final on Wednesday, which saw England beat Australia. Matt shared a snap of himself in a hospital outfit with a light blue cap, whilst he cradled his newborn daughter in his arms - with his joy clear to see on his face.
In the next picture, the little one could be seen asleep in her cot as a phone could be seen resting it with the women's football on. He captioned the post: "It's not often @BBCSport reporters miss England in a World Cup Semi final but my future lioness had other ideas! "Our little IVF miracle arrived seconds after @ellatoone99 smashed in the opener and so managed to watch the 2nd half." "@Lionesses you have a new fan for the final!"
