The Light Blues legend was never shy of getting involved in a heated battle with opponents on the park or shy to let his team-mates know he wasn't pleased when things weren't going right on the park or training ground. The former Ibrox skipper had a real battling mentality during his playing days and admitted over his time he had quite a few arguments.
However, he was always wary of one particular team-mate who he would keep at arms left as a cause. That man? Dado Prso. Asked about people in the dressing room he wouldn't cross, Ferguson told Go Radio: "I had a right few ding dongs. I will be honest with you. But there was one guy that I kind of kept at arms length and I wasn't too sure about, big Dado Prso. I wouldn't want to mess with him. He was a nut job. But I liked him but he was a fiery character.
"I wouldn't like to meet him down a dark alley. So I watched what I was saying with Dado!. But you always had ding dongs in training. That was just part of it. That was just a group of players who trained the way they wanted to play. Generally when you get that, you get a successful team."
Reflecting on one training ground incident, he continued: "I had one with [Sergio] Porrini. We were training in the box five against two. I passed to him - I thought it was a good pass as you generally do - but he didn't move. It was about two inches to the side. The bib got thrown to me but I said 'I am not going in' so I threw it to him but he threw it back.
"We went for each other then got sent home on the mini bus with Jimmy Bell. He took us back. He is down the front and I am up the back
