An Ayrshire gran fears she is going to die in her sleep after losing 10 stone in just NINE months during an agonising surgery wait.
Kathy Allan, 58, is desperately pleading for an operation which will put an end to her misery, after having three procedures cancelled.
The gran-of-six from Ayr, has dropped an incredible 12 dress sizes, going from a size 20 to a size eight, due to a stomach condition which has stopped her from being able to keep any food down. Kathy told Ayrshire Live: “I’m losing weight rapidly and nothing has been done about it. I’ve dropped from a size 20 to a size eight since last June. I’ve gone from 17 stone to just below seven-and-a-half stone. It’s 10 stone and counting, I feel totally malnourished.
“I want to eat but I can’t keep anything down. It doesn’t matter what I have it just comes right back up.
“I’m scared I just go to sleep one night and never wake up.”
Kathy’s first surgery was scheduled to take place on December 28 last year, but was cancelled at the last minute, the second surgery was then cancelled on January 9.
Kathy has told how she then “burst into tears,” when she was told the third attempt at surgery wasn’t possible, after deadly MRSA bacteria was
