An Audi drink driver has been arrested after crashing into an ambulance carrying a child patient to hospital.
Police were called to reports of the collision between the blue Audi and ambulance on Gilda Brook Road in Eccles earlier today.
After being pulled over, the driver failed a roadside breath test. They provided a reading of 128 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, Greater Manchester Police said.

The legal driving limit is 35 micrograms. They have since been arrested.
Fortunately, the child being taken to hospital, and the attending paramedics, were not injured.
: “The driver of this Audi has been arrested after failing a breath test following an RTC with an Ambulance on Gilda Brook Rd in Eccles.
“The driver blew 128 roadside & is off to custody. Luckily Paramedics & the child being taken to hospital were OK.”

An Indiana man accused of smuggling three migrants crashed his car during a high-speed chase in Uvalde County recently, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
