Bolton Wanderers veteran Kieran Lee says he feels as fit as he ever has as he believes the rotation could help to prolong his career as the Whites need to learn to grind out wins away from home.
The 34-year-old midfielder has embarked upon his 17th season as a professional. He came through the youth team ranks at Manchester United before going on to play for QPR, Oldham Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday.
After joining Wanderers in January 2021 following his release by the Owls the previous summer, Lee has become a key and experienced member of the Bolton squad. He has found the back of the net eight times in 59 games.

Ian Evatt has adopted a rotation policy this season to maintain freshness and ensure his side continue to play to the best of their abilities. Lee is an example of those players who has been rotated to play him in games which will best suit him.
He is one of several players in the squad out of contract at the end of this season as things stand. But he is confident that he will be able to prolong his career and understands Evatt's policy of rotation in a bid to maintain freshness.
He told the Manchester Evening News: “I feel as fit as I ever have – it’s still early in the season so I will see how things go, but I think it could do, yeah.
“We have got a big squad and some good players, especially in the midfield areas. I am getting a bit older so the manager wants to freshen it up at times, which is fine.
“The level in League One goes up every year and there are a lot of big clubs, including ourselves, so we know it is going to be tough. But we do have belief that we can have a good season."
