James Trafford - 7
Essentially untroubled by Barnsley in the first half. Denied Jack Aitchison after the break and Nicky Cadden from free-kick.
Gethin Jones - 7.5
Combined well at times with Bradley on the right flank. Got forward very well in particular in second half to deliver dangerous crosses into the box.
Ricardo Santos - 7.5
Got forward at times to aid attacks and kept James Norwood quiet throughout much of the game. Solid defensively at the back.
George Johnston - 7
Active down the left flank trying to support attacks and not afraid to play out from the back.
Conor Bradley - 7
Got forward to support attacks well and also defended solidly on the right flank. Worked well with Jones once again, but was booked before full-time for dissent.
MJ Williams - 6.5
Though he gave the ball away on occasions, a steady showing from defensive midfielder. Made some decent interceptions at times.
George Thomason - 6
Combative in the middle of the park and generally solid in possession. Booked in second half and fired good chance from corner over bar. Taken off after the hour mark.
Jack Iredale - 7
Came back into the side at left wing-back for the absent Declan John. Created a fair amount down left flank with dangerous crosses. Not as influential after the break.
Dapo Afolayan - 7
Handed first start since mid-August and played in the number 10 role. Won free kicks, looked creative and nearly scored with free kick. Went upfront with Bakayoko later on.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - 6.5
Came into the team for Elias Kachunga. Some lovely touches and passes at times from Iceland international and saw first half chance go wide. Taken off before the end.
Dion Charles - 5.5
Saw an early effort saved by Brad Collins before being so close to making
