Netflix’s upcoming original South Korean film Yaksha: Ruthless Operations has arrived.The brand-new visual opens with a shot of the neon-lit Chinese city of Shenyang, as a voiceover briefs special inspector Ji-hoon (played by Squid Game‘s Park Hae-soo) for an assignment that requires him to shadow a secret black ops team.We then dive into the action-packed predicaments of the black ops team, led by Ji Kang-in (Sol Kyung-gu), also known as the Yaksha. The team butt heads with antagonist “D7” Ozawa (Hiroyuki Ikeuchi), a Japanese spy disguised as a lobbyist who has a particularly bad history with the Yaksha.Also starring GOT7‘s Jinyoung (Yumi’s Cells), Yang Dong-geun (Lost), Lee El (Love And Leashes) and Song Jae-rim (Work Later, Drink Now), Yaksha: Ruthless Operations follows the team and their unwilling inspector in search of a high-ranking North Korean official who has gone missing.

Susanna Reid and Martin Lewis felt emotional watching a video clip of a young Ukrainian girl singing the country’s national anthem onstage during a major charity concert, weeks after she first went viral singing a song from Frozen in a bomb shelter. Introducing the clip on Monday’s Good Morning Britain, Susanna shared the ‘good news’ that Amelia Anisovych was now safe in Poland after fleeing Ukraine with her grandmother and brother Misha. The seven-year-old was able to escape her home country’s capital city of Kyiv shortly after her first video gained huge interest, and the 51-year-old presenter explained that Amelia was back and sharing her voice once more.

LOS ANGELES -- “CODA” won the top prize at Saturday night's Producers Guild Awards, giving momentum to the possibility that the small film could have a big night at next week's Oscars.The story of three adult family members who are deaf and a fourth who is not and seeks a singing career beat out bigger contenders including “The Power of the Dog,” “Dune” and “West Side Story" to take an award that — more often than not — goes on to win the Academy Award for best picture.“This movie has been an amazing ride, it was such a special one to make, there was so much love and so much heart put into it,” said Fabrice Gianfermi as he accepted the award with his “CODA” co-producers Philippe Rousselet and Patrick Wachsberger at the 33rd PGA Awards.An American Sign Language translator, who had been off to one side of the stage throughout the night’s speeches, stood front and center during the “CODA” acceptance and another stood in front of the stage to translate for the three actors from the film who are deaf: Troy Kotsur, Marlee Matlin and Daniel Durant.“CODA,” an acronym for “children of deaf adults,” is nominated for three Oscars at the March 27 ceremony, including best adapted screenplay for writer-director Sian Heder and best supporting actor for Kotsur, who is expected by most to become the first actor who is deaf since Matlin in 1987 to win an Oscar.After it won best ensemble at last month's Screen Actors Guild Awards it began to appear “CODA” could get real consideration for best picture. Pride in the Park — with more artists to be announced, Christopher Street West, the 501(c)3 nonprofit that produces the event, has announced.The multi-stage event will return Saturday, June 11, after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic and move to Los Angeles State Historic Park.
