Anne Heche has officially been taken off of life support.
The actress, best known for her roles in Men in Trees and Donnie Brasco, has taken off of life support on Sunday (August 14), two days after she was declared brain dead. She was 53-years-old.

“Anne Heche has been peacefully taken off life support,” Anne‘s rep Holly Baird confirmed in a statement with The Hollywood Reporter.
After being declared brain dead on Friday (August 12), Anne remained on life support until recipients for organ transplants were found.
As of right now, it’s unclear how many donor matches Anne will be able to help or which organs are to be donated.
The L.A. County Coroner will later conduct an autopsy, according to protocol, following Anne‘s horrific car crash earlier this month.
Tributes continue to pour in from celebrities following the sad news. The LAPD also announced the end of the investigation into the crash.
