One of the biggest gun and drug trafficking gangs ever encountered by law enforcement in the UK are among those who have been locked up this week in Greater Manchester.

All of the road closures necessary this weekend have been announced ahead of the Manchester Christmas Parade - due to take place in the city centre on Sunday, December 3.
The parade will set off at 1pm from Manchester Cathedral following a route down Deansgate, onto St Ann's Street, then along Cross Street and Corporation Street as far as the National Football Museum, where it will turn onto Fennel Street for the finish.
Details of the road closures, changes to Metrolink timetable and on-street parking which are necessary in order for the parade to safely go ahead are below:

Access to the Marks and Spencer car-park will be managed as much as possible via Victoria Bridge Street, but there will be two periods of approximately 20 minutes when it will be paused.
As well as a Metrolink tram suspension of the Second City Crossing route (St Peter's Square, Princess Street, Albert Square, Cross Street and Corporation Street) between 12pm and 2.30pm on Sunday, there will be on-street parking suspension on the following streets:
