Alison Hammond reveals 'Queen of Birmingham' perk as Alan Carr calls it 'bull***t'

Joe Lycett was joined by Alison Hammond, Alan Carr and Joanna Lumley on his first episode of new Channel 4 show Late Night Lycett on Friday evening. The new Birmingham-based TV show was filled with funny moments, from comedian Katherine Ryan getting stranded on a barge to Alan's hilarious one-liners. As she and Joe, 34, spoke about all things Birmingham, Alison, 48, revealed she gets free parking at the Bullring in the city centre, after meeting someone at a party who works there.
Explaining the story behind the perk, she said: "I went to this party in Birmingham, and my friend, one of her managers, works at the Bullring. I was going, 'so do you get any perks working at the bullring?' "He went, 'well actually I get free parking'". She revealed she decided to try her luck, and asked if he could get her free parking and he said he'd sort it for Alison.
The This Morning presenter then explained that then she pulls up at the carpark at the Bullring and puts in her car reg, it says 'Queen of Birmingham' before she drives in. "How good is that?!" she exclaimed. "And then on the way out, I give a little bit of money to charity, because I do feel bad about not paying." Comedian Alan, 46, branded Alison's claims "bullsh***" as everyone in the studio fell about laughing.
She then hilariously fired back: "Don't be jealous. I'm the Queen of Birmingham babes, what can I do?!" Elsewhere on Joe's new show, Katherine Ryan got stranded on an unmoored barge, leaving viewers in stitches as they watched her floating down the canal.
