The new competition show, with a twist, sees twelve strangers trek across South Africa, but who'll spend some of the shared £300k prize pot on individual luxuries? Paddy then said: "Seriously, you two before I start effing and jeffing, are we on? Are we on the telly?" Dermot replied: "I apologise, but yes, this is on the telly," to which a mortified Paddy said: "Oh my God, why didn't you give me a heads up?"
They did eventually get on with the interview but Paddy couldn't help but give Alison, 48, a warning. The Top Gear and Question of Sport host said: "Can I just say as well, while we're here, Bake Off - well
