Netflix star Robert Cormier has died aged 33, his family have confirmed. Robert starred in the hit streaming service's American Gods and Slasher, in addition to Canada's long-running TV series Heartland where he played Finn Cotter. He also landed a guest spot on Designated Survivor in 2016.

In the wake of "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" being released just under a week ago on Netflix, climbing to the top spot on the streaming service, fans are critical of two songs, sung by Perry and Kesha, that made crude references to the cannibalistic acts of Dahmer.

Following the global success of her show Nanette and it’s follow up Douglas, Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby announced that she has signed a multi-title deal with Netflix. Gadsby’s announcement came almost a year after the comedian slammed Netflix over its handling of the controversy surrounding comedian Dave Chappelle’s transphobic comments. Gadsby revealed that Netflix had agreed to work with her on a special that would feature genderqueer comics from across the world. Hannah Gadsby.Gadsby had kicked off her ‘Body of Work’ tour in the US in April 2022. Netflix announced the release date of the third season of the romantic comedy. Set and filmed in the provinces of Paris, including Ile-de-France, the series follows Emily Cooper, who lands an unexpected opportunity to provide an American insight for French luxury marketing company - Savoir. Emily - played by Lily Collins - initially struggles to adapt to the Parisian lifestyle, which is a different world to her Midwestern upbringing, as she tries to win over her new work colleagues, creating new friendships and tangling herself in a complicated love story.

Caroline Framke Chief TV Critic It takes six episodes for “Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” (yes, that is indeed the show’s full name) to meaningfully expand beyond the scope of either the serial killer or Evan Peters’ portrayal of him. In that episode, “Silenced,” directed by Paris Barclay and written by Janet Mock and David McMillan, the story of Dahmer victim Tony Anthony Hughes comes to the forefront. Tony (played with warm charm by “Deaf U” alum Rodney Burford) was a gregarious aspiring model with a big heart. He was Deaf, Black, gay, a great dancer. His friends and mother (a moving Karen Malina White) loved him very much. With every moment Burford gets to give Tony new life, the inevitable end of “Silenced” becomes all the more harrowing, and the cops’ inaction to find the truth all the more infuriating. But as the show’s nonsensical maze of a title suggests, this episode is an exception rather than the rule. Otherwise, Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s new Netflix series is a grim, sepia-toned slog that rarely justifies its own existence.
