Manchester United have paid tribute to former forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic following his retirement from professional football.
The 41-year-old bows out after winning 34 trophies - including 14 league titles - his most recent with AC Milan just last season.
Zlatan spent just two years in Manchester after signing from Jose Mourinho's side in July 2016. During his time at Old Trafford he claimed both the League Cup and the Europa League.

The Reds' official Twitter account paid homage to a decorated career in the game for Zlatan - one in which he was nominated for the Ballon d'Or 11 times - by posting on social media.
''A distinguished career for a man like no other. Congratulations on everything you’ve achieved and all the best in your retirement, @Ibra_Official,'' wrote the club's official channels. Zlatan responded via Twitter, replying with three heart emojis.
Ibrahimovic has never hidden his fondness for United. Speaking to former United player Bojan Djordjic back in 2018, the Swede insisted: “I gave as much as I could for as long as I could; when I got injured, I got support in a different way. They always stood behind me and my teammates.
“They are special: everywhere I see red, I think about United. It will remain in history and my career; when I look back at my time with United, I will do it with a smile. I wish them all the best in the future.”
