Otoboke Beaver have released ‘Pardon?’, the lead single from their upcoming new album ‘Super Champon’.Commenting on the title of the new track, the band say: “Sometimes, the more you insist, the harder it is to understand you. Working Men’s Club have announced full details of their second album, called ‘Fear Fear’ – listen to first single ‘Widow’ below.The band’s self-titled debut album came out in 2020, and they announced last September that its follow-up was finished.‘Fear Fear’ will come out on July 15 via Heavenly, and frontman Syd Minsky-Sargeant discussed its creation and themes in a statement, saying: “The first album was mostly a personal documentation lyrically, this is a blur between personal and a third-person perspective of what was going on.“I like the contrast of it being happy, uplifting music and really dark lyrics,” he added. “It’s not a minimal record, certainly compared to the first one. Arcade Fire have confirmed that they will make their comeback with new single ‘The Lightning I, II’ this week (March 17).The Canadian band last released an album in 2017 with ‘Everything Now’, and have since shared 45-minute track ‘Memories Of The Age of Anxiety’ for a meditation app in 2021, and released a live version of political cut ‘Generation A’ in late 2020.Over the past few weeks, the band have been teasing their return. Aldous Harding has shared a new single today, ‘Fever’ – listen to the track below.It’s taken from her upcoming new album ‘Warm Chris’ and follows on from the previously released ‘Lawn‘. The New Zealand musician will release the follow-up to her April 2019 record ‘Designer’ on March 25 via 4AD.‘Warm Chris’ was produced by John Parish (who also produced ‘Designer’ and Harding’s 2017 LP ‘Party’), with all 10 tracks being recorded at Rockfield Studios. Harding’s 2021 single ‘Old Peel’ does not make the final cut, however.The album includes contributions from Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson as well as H.
