Vince Staples has shared his latest single ‘Rose Street’ – you can hear the track below.The song is the next preview of the Long Beach rapper’s forthcoming new album ‘Ramona Park Broke My Heart’, which is set for release on April 8 via Blacksmith Recordings and Motown Records UK.Following on from the record’s first single ‘Magic’, which arrived last month, Staples has now shared ‘Rose Street’.The track is being accompanied by a short video (directed by the rapper with C. Blacksmith) which stars Staples, who the camera eventually pans in on after a sweeping shot across a beach.

Otoboke Beaver have released ‘Pardon?’, the lead single from their upcoming new album ‘Super Champon’.Commenting on the title of the new track, the band say: “Sometimes, the more you insist, the harder it is to understand you. We don’t have time to understand if you don’t have time to understand”.The album is set for release on 6 May, and the band will be in the UK and Ireland for live shows the following month.

Bloc Party have released their fourth single from upcoming sixth album ‘Alpha Games’ – check out the joyful if bittersweet ‘If We Get Caught’ below.According to vocalist Kele Okereke, “there are only two songs that I feel like have any tenderness on the record and ‘If We Get Caught’ is one of them.”“It’s really about recognising that the game is coming to an end and about trying to steal a moment of tenderness with your partner before the curtain comes crashing down. Mark Tuan has dropped his latest single, ‘lonely’.The singer, who is also a member of the K-pop boyband GOT7, unveiled the song today (March 24) alongside an accompanying “visualiser”, which sees Tuan performing from a solitary, black couch in the middle of an otherwise empty room, with the word “lonely” written across the floor.“I like it better when I’m lonely, lonely, all alone / I never needed you to hold me, hold me, keep me close / And you know I gave you everything /Thеn you went and said to me / That you like it bеtter lonely, lonely, all alone” he croons on the chorus.‘lonely’ was co-written by Tuan, alongside Matty Michna and lilspirit, the latter of whoa slo co-wrote the singer’s last two singles. The track was also produced by Michna, alongside frequent Young Thug collaborator BL$$D, JordanXL and Xavi.The new song is the third solo single from Tuan since he made his first foray into English music as a soloist in November 2021 with ‘Last Breath’.

Arcade Fire have confirmed that they will make their comeback with new single ‘The Lightning I, II’ this week (March 17).The Canadian band last released an album in 2017 with ‘Everything Now’, and have since shared 45-minute track ‘Memories Of The Age of Anxiety’ for a meditation app in 2021, and released a live version of political cut ‘Generation A’ in late 2020.Over the past few weeks, the band have been teasing their return. Earlier this month, a brief snippet of new music appeared on the contact page of the group’s official website.

Aldous Harding announced her fourth studio album, Warm Chris, in January with its slippery lead single, "Lawn." Where that song shuffles sidelong in and out of focus, its new follow-up, "Fever," walks a straight line, the New Zealand singer-songwriter making direct eye contact with her listener (though the two tracks' respective press image tell the opposite story). "Fever, when we met at hotel reception / 'Never, have I been so tired,' you said / You bet, guess we did what the other expected," she begins over a no-nonsense, four-chord piano progression and a stretchy bass line.

Sharon Van Etten has shared her latest single ‘Used To It’ – you can hear the new track below.The song marks Van Etten’s second solo release of 2022, following on from last month’s ‘Porta’.Speaking about ‘Used To It’, which was originally written for the score for the 2020 HBO documentary Baby God, Van Etten explained: “Ultimately, the film team changed their musical direction, but I found myself welcomely challenged to the idea of writing a song about the concept of family, connection through blood, nature vs. nurture, while attempting to incorporate ideas of love and the complexities of science and technology.“I am grateful for this song to be able to have a new life, relating more to the times we have all been living through and redefining the meaning of this song by focusing on the positives of seeking connection and understanding what family means to the individual.”The track’s accompanying video, which you can see above, was created by Van Etten’s musical director and bandmate Charley Damski, and features the dancer and choreographer Hayden J Frederick.Van Etten said of the clip: “Together, they helped me convey the feelings of internal struggles, while also finding space for oneself and embracing that pain in order to move on.” Van Etten will head out on a UK and European tour this summer.
