Netflix has confirmed that You season five is in production, giving fans a first-look of the show's final instalment.
The hit series, which premiered on the streamer in 2019, stars Penn Badgley as book-loving, hopeless romantic Joe Goldberg. Charming and witty, you almost forget he's a stalker and serial killer.
A new photo shared by You's official X account on Monday (March 25) sees Joe donning an all-black outfit while walking through the streets of New York. The post's caption read: "Back to where it all began. The 5th and final season of YOU is now in production."

Netflix had previously confirmed that You's fifth season would be its last. Executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter said in a statement last March that they 'always conceived it as a five-season journey.'
Based on the novels by Caroline Kepnes, You's first series began in New York before Joe ventured to Los Angeles in season two. The suffocating suburbs of San Francisco came next in season three, where he raised a child with wife Love Quinn.
The fourth season, which released last March, saw the killer move across the pond for a much-needed fresh start in London. Inevitably, Joe fell in love once again amid a series of twisted and grizzly events.
It ended with him and new partner Kate relocating to New York, bringing the thriller series full circle. Kate is a familiar face to us Brits, portrayed by Call The Midwife and Fresh Meat star Charlotte Ritchie.
