100 gecs have celebrated the release of their new album by sharing a video for ‘Dumbest Girl Alive’ – check it out below.The hyperpop duo – Laura Les and Dylan Brady – released their long-awaited second album ‘10,000 gecs’ yesterday (March 17).Their ‘Dumbest Girl Alive’ video sees the pair in a warehouse, with Brady sitting unmoved on some stairs with an acoustic guitar, while a superimposed, glitchy version of Les dances away while performing the song.Check it out below.Giving ‘10,000 gecs’ a five-star review, NME wrote: “Though it’s sorely missing some choice cuts from 100 gecs’ current live set (namely ‘Fallen 4 Ü’ and ‘What’s That Smell?’), ‘10,000 gecs’ is insanely fun and impressively ambitious.“It’s also short but sweet, throwing its turbulent flurry of punches and then dipping out before listeners have a chance to really think about what’s going on. And therein lies the key to making the most of ‘10,000 gecs’: don’t think too hard about it, just take a deep breath and ride the wave.”Next month, the band will begin a huge North American headline tour behind ‘10,000 gecs’.

Amy Childs has said her nursery fees are already a "fortune" as she prepares for the arrival of her twins.The TOWIE favourite, 32, is expecting twins with her beau Billy Delbosq, with their little bundles of joy expected to arrive next month. Jem Aswad Senior Music Editor One of the ironies about the rise of 100 Gecs — who have become poster children for “hyper-pop,” whether they want to be or not — is the fact that their hyperactive music, which is filled with lyrical and sonic pranks, changes direction every few seconds and has melodies that are like bubblegum pop through a garish Instagram filter, is being feted for its pretty undeniable brilliance. Critics slather over them, they signed a deal with Atlantic Records, were the subject of in-depth profiles in the New Yorker and the New York Times, and were even artists in residence at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. While it’s not hard to imagine the hardly-serious duo of Laura Les and Dylan Brady doubled over with laughter when these things started happening, now it’s almost like the joke’s on them.

Stormzy and Dua Lipa are set to make guest appearances at Hay Festival 2023.The famed literary event’s 36th spring edition is due to take place in Hay-on-Wye in Powys, Wales between May 25 and June 4. It’ll boast over 500 in-person sessions over that 11-day period.Per a press release, Hay “is the world’s leading festival of ideas, bringing readers and writers together in sustainable events to inspire, examine and entertain”.This year’s programme will launch the best new fiction and non-fiction titles, while offering insight and debate around major global issues.

On Tuesday, the 27-year-old singer was spotted leaving Saint Laurent's Paris Fashion Week show with Romain Gavras.Both Lipa and Gavras, a 41-year-old music video director, wore all black as they exited the event hand-in-hand. When it was announced that AMC Theatres was going to adopt a new ticketing structure, dubbed Sightline, reactions were largely negative. (I might have ranted a bit myself.) Basically, the plan feels like a new way for AMC Theatres to punish its frequent customers by raising the prices on the “best” seats while offering a discount on what are clearly terrible seats that probably shouldn’t exist in the first place.

Chernyshova was the first witness called in Weinstein’s Los Angeles trial last year. Her testimony compelled the jury to convict Weinstein on three charges of rape and sexual assault, ultimately resulting in a 16-year sentencing. Weinstein is already serving a 23-year sentence from his New York conviction in 2020. Once the most powerful man in Hollywood, the disgraced movie mogul is appealing both of his convictions. “You can stand. You can fight a monster. You can win,” Chernyshova said in a television interview with ABC News, which aired on Feb. 27.
