A man stole over £40,000 worth of jewellery from his parents whilst they were on holiday.
Richard Lea, 38, found a key to the lock safe in his parents bedroom, and ‘systematically plundered’ eighteen items of jewellery whilst they were away.
When he was first confronted by his dad, he said he had taken the collection to a pawn broker in Liverpool.
