The final installment of Yellowstone will begin filming in late spring, 2024. This is a logical start of production target given the fact that the popular series from Taylor Sheridan shoots largely outdoors in Utah and would need to wait for the winter to be over.
To accomodate a spring return to production on the second half of Season 5, Paramount Network recently slated it for a November 2024 premiere. There is no target production start date yet 2024, the contemporary Yellowstone spinoff series whose debut is set to follow the conclusion of the mothership series.
While everything is possible, for now there are no plans for Yellowstone star Kevin Costner to return for the series’ final chapter, we hear. As Deadline reported exclusively, his exit was triggered by a dispute over the extent of his availability in Season 5.
The Yellowstone franchise and the entire Taylor Sheridan slate is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios.
