Adapted from Christian Wallace’s 2019 podcast “Boomtown,” the show follows Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, aka the “Landman,” who serves as a peacekeeper and problem solver in the world of Texas oil rigs. Other cast members include Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Jacob Lofland and Paulina Chávez.
