Paramount’s Midas Touch man Taylor Sheridan is on quite the tear this year. He’ll have at four, count ‘em, FOUR series coming this fall.

Adapted from Christian Wallace’s 2019 podcast “Boomtown,” the show follows Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, aka the “Landman,” who serves as a peacekeeper and problem solver in the world of Texas oil rigs. Other cast members include Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Jacob Lofland and Paulina Chávez.

So, with Kevin Costner ousted from the show, “Yellowstone,” TV’s #1 show, was supposed to come to an end this fifth and would-be final season. But somewhere along the lines, Paramount and creator/writer Taylor Sheridan changed their minds.

He has three shows coming this fall: a new one, “Land Man,” starring Billy Bob Thornton, about the Texas oil industry, the second part of the final season of “Yellowstone,” and the season two return of the Sylvester Stallone-starring “Tulsa King.” If you didn’t see season one, “Tulsa King” centers on Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), a Mafia capo from New York City.

Michelle Pfeiffer is officially joining the Yellowstone universe!

Michelle Pfeiffer will officially star in the next spinoff in the “Yellowstone” world, helmed by creator Taylor Sheridan. Called “The Madison,” the show will star Pfeiffer, 66, who will also exec produce. The show’s previous working title was “2024.” The story will follow a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.
