mxmtoon has announced her debut UK and Ireland headline shows as part of a wider European tour – tickets will be available here.The Californian singer-songwriter will hit the road this autumn in support of her second album ‘Rising’, which arrives on May 20 via AWAL (pre-order here).Following a run of Australian and European dates, mxmtoon is scheduled to touch down in the UK on October 28 for a performance at the Electric Brixton in London. The Who performed Pete Townshend‘s solo track ‘Let My Love Open The Door’ for the first time in 33 years during a recent show in London.The group played a special concert at the Royal Albert Hall last Friday night (March 25) in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Frontman Roger Daltrey is a patron of the charity and launched the TCT gig series back in 2000.As Stereogum reports, The Who delivered a stripped-back acoustic set that included a sprinkling of deep cuts and rarities from across the band’s catalogue.

MC5 have announced their first album in over 50 years and a series of US tour dates.The band took to Instagram earlier today (March 9) to post a video, which you can view below, featuring old footage of the punk veterans and a snippet of the album’s title track ‘Heavy Lifting’. Bauhaus have announced their first tour in over 16 years.After breaking up in 1983, Bauhaus reformed and have had a number of different formations over the years. Following a 20th anniversary tour in 1998, the band returned for a performance at Coachella in 2005 before going on to support Nine Inch Nails the following year.Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins, and David J officially reunited again in late 2019, playing three shows in Los Angeles.

Belle And Sebastian have announced that they will release their tenth studio album – and their first for seven years – later this year.
