The Avalanches announce UK headline tour dates

Bin strikes are set to start in Manchester on May 3, unions have announced today.

Dream Perfect Regime) have announced dates in the UK, European and North America for their upcoming 2022 Regime World Tour.Over the weekend, members of the collective – consisting DPR IAN, DPR Live, DPR Cream and DPR REM – broke the news though their various official social media accounts. A total of 29 shows in the UK, Europe and North America have been announced for September to November 2022, with Asia-Pacific dates to be confirmed at a later time.“I fucking fought for this… for months yall… YALL BETTER SHOW OUT!,” wrote DPR REM, DPR’s creative director and executive producer, on Twitter.

Lorde, Bleachers, Mitski and more have been announced for this year’s All Things Go music festival.The event will take place at Merriweather Post Pavillion on October 1, and is set to host 16 artists on multiple stages. King Princess, Bartees Strange, and Lucy Dacus are will also play the independent fest.

Mitski has announced details of new UK and Irish tour dates for this summer, ahead of an imminent, sold-out run of dates.As announced last year, the singer-songwriter will tour new album ‘Laurel Hell’ in the UK and Europe later this month, ending on April 29 with a London gig at Brixton Academy.Mitski will touch down in the UK on April 21 for gigs in Bristol, Leeds and Glasgow before visiting Dublin, Manchester and London. The series re-teams Itineraire Productions with Julien Lilti, the up-and-coming creator and screenwriter of Disney Plus Star’s original series “Oussekine” and Canal Plus hit show “Hyppocrates.” Lilti is writing the scripts for “Who Killed Lady Di” with the collaboration of Martine Monteil, who led the criminal investigation division of the French police at the time of Diana Spencer’s death.

Fontaines DC have released new single ‘Skinty Fia’, the title track from their new album, which is out next month.“Skinty fia” is an Irish phrase which translates to “the damnation of the deer” and is an expression of disappointment or annoyance. Frontman Grian Chatten says in the context of the album title and this song it expresses his feeling towards the “mutation” of Irish culture abroad.The album is out on 22 Apr, and the band have just added a run of UK and Ireland shows to their already hefty world tour schedule to close out the year.
