A woman who spent £95 on a tattoo dedicated to her beloved dog was left horrified when she saw the final result.
Chey, who uses the handle @cumminschey on TikTok, shared a photo of the cute inking she had planned to get - but it seems the tattoo artist was barking up the wrong tree with her interpretation of the design, the Mirror reports.
The trainee teacher, who lives in Ohio in the US, even told her followers that the artist had drawn a stencil of the artwork before starting the permanent tattoo, yet it still turned out completely different.
"Didn’t they stencil it before to show you the design?" a follower questioned, to which Chey replied: "Yes but it looked completely opposite."
"Worst $125 (£95) I've spent," she wrote alongside the clip, which been watched nearly 12,000 times.
One TikTok user commented: "The detail and colour is amazing but this was NOT what you were going for lmao I get where you're coming from I've had the same thing happen..."
"We've got to normalise being comfortable bringing up our issues with the stencil before they start," another added.
A third wrote: "These are two completely different concepts."
In a follow up clip, it appears to show the tattoo having been covered up.
However, it isunclear what design Chey decided to go with to cover up the ruff design.
One thing we're sure of is that she probably went to a different artist for that one...
