A 50-year-old woman died on the way to hospital after her car crashed into a bollard in Failsworth, police have confirmed.
At around 11.50pm yesterday morning (August 27) Greater Manchester Police were called to Droylsden Road following reports of a crash.
Officers taped off the road between Rossington Street and Averill Street.
Transport for Greater Manchester warned drivers on Twitter to avoid the area after the collision.
