A man who died after being hit by a van in Heywood has been named as Czeslaw Rozal.
Mr Rozal, who is understood to have been in his 50s, was struck by a Vauxhall Astra 'car-derived van’ on Monday (23 August).
Police were called to Pitt Street in the town to reports that a vehicle had collided with a pedestrian.

The male pedestrian - now understood to be Mr Rozal - passed
