When we think of celebrations so often the drink that comes to mind is a glass of sparkling white wine. Sometimes that's Prosecco but when we're thinking of a true treat it's often Champagne - but is one better than the other? What's the difference?
There's plenty of options to choose from at supermarkets ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and Sainsbury's. But sometimes it can be worthwhile looking a little further afield for a bottle of fizz that tastes delicious and doesn't break the budget.
With that in mind, we got our wine expert Jada Jones, who is currently undergoing her Level 3 Award in Wines from WSET after completely levels 1 and 2 last year, to explain the differences of the big bubbles on the market and give some of her handpicked recommendations.

Here's what Jada recommends:
Asti is one of the cheapest sparkling wines you'll find on the market but don't let that discourage you. It's Italian in origin, like the popular Prosecco but is made up of Moscato Bianco grape instead of Glera. Most white wines have notes of green, citrus or tropical fruits but interestingly the main note that comes through with this one is actually grape.
It's often saved to the end of a meal and served alongside dessert thanks to the sweetness but honestly it can be enjoyed just by itself too. The wine is typically low in alcohol and you can expect an ABV of around 7%. My top recommendation for Asti has to be Asti Martini, which can be bought in most supermarkets. It currently costs
