The Royal Family has undergone a series of dramatic changes in the past year which have particularly impacted King Charles and Prince William.
As father and son, they have both seen their royal roles drastically change with Charles now monarch and William being appointed as the Prince of Wales following the death of Queen Elizabeth II last year.
Along with the future King's new role also comes the title of Duke of Cornwall and responsibility for overseeing the vast Duchy of Cornwall estate.
It was previously run for over 50 years by Charles who took great interest in its success when he was Prince of Wales, the Mirror reports.
During an ITV documentary, Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy of Cornwall, Charles opened up about a comment his eldest son made to him about the estate which reduced the monarch to tears.
In a clip that has gone viral once again, viewers saw William speaking to a second-generational farmer, Mervyn Keeling, about his private estate.
Speaking of the future of the estate William said: "I’ve started to think about how I will inherit the Duchy one day and what I do with it.
"I think it’s really important, the family angle, I really do."
Viewers were then shown a clip of Charles who was reflecting on the conversation between the farmer and his son.
He revealed: "When I saw it, I couldn’t believe it.
"I was deeply touched and moved by what he said. Frankly, it reduced me to tears. It did, really.
"Because, I suddenly thought, well, just hearing that from him has made the last 50 years worthwhile."
Prince William celebrated his 41st birthday yesterday and the King shared a sweet unseen Coronation photo of him and his eldest son to mark the occasion.
