The Wagatha Christie trial for the ongoing libel battle between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney got underway at London's High Court on Tuesday 10 May. But while Coleen, 36, was seen arriving with her husband Wayne, 36, Rebekah, 40, was seen without her husband Jamie, 35. Dad of two Jamie is thought to be training ahead of an upcoming football game where his team Leicester will play against Norwich at home.
Coleen and Wayne arrived at London's High Court, with the mum of four wearing a black suit and a navy T-shirt, with her foot in a brace alongside her husband. Coleen - who fractured a bone in her foot earlier this year - is still recovering although she managed to style out her injury by wearing a slip-on Gucci loafer on her good foot.
The star clutched onto a black bag and had a serious expression on her face as she prepared herself for the seven day-long trial. Former England player Wayne fashioned a black pair of trousers with a white shirt, black tie and grey blazer. After Wayne and Coleen were swarmed by photographers at the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand, Rebekah arrived in a long blue dress with sunglasses. Rebekah is suing Coleen for libel in a trial that is set to last seven days after Coleen accused Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking stories about her to the press.
